Chun Mei Zhu of Bellingham Washington is a stockbroker currently registered with Waddell & Reed who is the subject of a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim where the customer sought $50,000.00 in damages supported by accusations that Zhu made unsuitable investment recommendations to the customer concerning the use of the customer’s 401(k) funds to purchase variable annuities. FINRA Arbitration No. 17-02027 (Aug. 16, 2017).

FINRA Public Disclosure also reveals that on February 29, 2016, a customer filed an investment related written complaint that pertained to Zhu’s conduct in which the customer requested $110,000.00 in damages founded on allegations that Zhu negligently handled the customer’s managed allocation portfolio, misled the customer concerning investments, caused the customer to suffer from poor investment performance, and effected a faulty annuity purchase with the customer’s retirement account funds.

Zhu has been registered with Waddell & Reed since October 4, 2004.
