Chad Ryan Barancyk of Chicago, Illinois, a stockbroker formerly registered with First Allied Securities Inc., is the subject of a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim in which the customer requested $260,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Barancyk breached a contract, breached a fiduciary duty, acted negligently, and effected unsuitable transactions in connection with the recommendation and sale of real estate investment trusts when Barancyk was associated with First Allied Securities Inc. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 21-01531 (February 4, 2022).
Public Disclosure shows that Barancyk is referenced in eleven total customer initiated investment related disputes concerning Barancyk’s conduct while associated with securities broker dealers, including First Allied Securities Inc. On September 3, 2021, a customer filed an investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Barancyk’s conduct in which the customer requested $500,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Barancyk breached a contract, acted negligently, failed to supervise, and made misrepresentations with regard to the recommendation and sale of real estate investment trusts when Barancyk was associated with First Allied Securities Inc. FINRA Arbitration No. 21-01914.
On February 4, 2022, another arbitration claim involving Barancyk’s activities in which the customer requested $259,330.00 in damages based upon allegations that Barancyk breached a contract, breached a fiduciary duty, acted negligently, and executed unsuitable transactions when Barancyk was associated with First Allied Securities Inc. FINRA Arbitration No. 21-02500.
Barancyk is also referenced in an arbitration claim that was settled for $27,500.00 in damages based upon allegations that Barancyk failed to supervise, made unsuitable transactions, and made misrepresentations with regard to the recommendation and sale of stocks when Barancyk was associated with First Allied Securities Inc. FINRA Arbitration No. 21-01854 (August 19, 2022).
On June 15, 2022, Barancyk was barred by FINRA for the failure to cooperate in an inquiry or investigation regarding his conduct.
Barancyk was associated with Great Point Capital from 2021 to 2022. From 2014 to 2021, he was associated with First Allied Securities. From 2005 to 2014, he was associated with SII Investments.
