Marcious Dickerson, of Livonia, Michigan, a stockbroker currently registered with Centaurus Financial, Inc., has been named in a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim, which settled on September 1, 2015, for $97,983.70 in damages based upon allegations that Dickerson breached his fiduciary and contractual duties to the customer, effected unsuitable transactions in the customer’s account, negligently handled the customer’s investment portfolio, and made misrepresentations to the customer in reference to investment products including real estate securities, mutual funds, insurance, and variable annuities.
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure reveals that Dickerson has been named in two additional customer initiated investment related disputes regarding allegations of Dickerson’s misconduct while employed with Vestax Securities Corporation. Specifically, on October 27, 2003, a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim involving Dickerson’s conduct was settled for $7,500.00 in damages based upon allegations that Dickerson effected unauthorized mutual fund purchases in the customer’s investment account.
Additionally, on February 13, 2015, a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim regarding Dickerson’s activities was resolved for $18,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Dickerson made misrepresentations to the customer, effected transactions which were not suitable, negligently managed the customer’s investment portfolio, breached his fiduciary and contractual duties to the customer, and violated the securities laws of the State of Michigan in reference to transactions involving real estate securities and a variable annuity.
