Steven Douglas Schisler of Grass Valley California a stockbroker formerly employed by IFS Securities has been referenced in an investigation initiated by Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) on June 13, 2019 into accusations that the stockbroker failed to comply with FINRA Rules 2010 and 8210 by (1) attempting to condition a settlement of a customer initiated investment related dispute on the expungement of that dispute from his record and (2) falsifying information relating to an expungement hearing. FINRA Public Disclosure reveals that Schisler is additionally referenced in a customer initiated investment related complaint where the customer sought unspecified damages based upon accusations that the customer was poorly advised and untrue statements were made to the customer concerning variable life insurance policies and variable annuities transactions effected when Schisler was associated with Washington Square Securities. Also, a customer filed an investment related civil action involving Schisler’s conduct in which the customer requested unspecified damages based upon allegations including that fiduciary duties owed to the customer had been breached and that the customer’s funds were converted by the stockbroker through a real estate transaction. Schisler was registered with IFS Securities between June 1, 2012 and September 9, 2019.
