Blake H. Kiernan, of Garden City, New York, a stockbroker formerly registered with Woodstock Financial Group, Inc., has been named in a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim, in which the customer requested $200,000.00 in damages based upon allegations of breach of contract, unsuitability, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, unauthorized trading, churning, and excessive trading in regard to over-the-counter equities transactions effected in the customer’s account. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 17-00630 (Mar. 9, 2017).

FINRA Public Disclosure also reveals that on August 30, 2016, a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim pertaining to Kiernan’s activities was resolved for $71,500.00 in damages founded on allegations that misrepresentations were made to the customer. The customer’s assets were also reportedly churned and negligently managed; unsuitable over-the-counter equities were placed in the customer’s account; and trades were executed on an unauthorized basis. FINRA Arbitration No. 15-00736 (Aug. 30, 2016).

A customer then filed an investment related arbitration claim involving Kiernan’s improper conduct, where the customer sought $100,000.00 in damages based upon allegations of breach of fiduciary duty and unsuitability in regard to over-the-counter equities transactions placed in the customer’s investment portfolio. The customer additionally alleged that Woodstock Financial Group failed to supervise Kiernan’s business activities. FINRA Arbitration No. 15-03356 (Jan. 28, 2016).
