William Charles Sines (also known as Bill Sines) of Seminole Florida a stockbroker currently registered with Berthel Fisher Company Financial Services is the subject of a customer initiated investment related written complaint on December 31, 2020 in which the customer requested more than $5,000.00 in damages supported by allegations that the customer was sold an unsuitable real estate security when Sines was associated with SII investments and Berthel Fisher.

Sines has been identified in four additional customer initiated investment related disputes regarding accusations of his wrongdoing while he was registered with Kalos Capital, SII Investments and Berthel Fisher Company. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure shows that a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim regarding Sines’ activities was settled for $36,000.00 in damages based upon allegations of an unsuitable variable annuity transaction for the customer’s account at SII Investments.

Another customer filed an investment related complaint involving Sines’ activities where the customer sought compensatory damages founded on accusations of unsuitable REITs being held in the customer’s living trust account. The complaint alleges that the illiquidity of the investments made them inappropriate for the trust.

Sines is also referenced in a customer initiated investment related written complaint which was resolved for $19,737.00 on March 2, 2018 supported by allegations of Sines providing the customer with unsuitable investment recommendations as it pertained to a real estate security and mutual fund that the customer invested in while Sines was associated with Kalos Capital.

On July 23, 2019, another customer filed an investment related complaint concerning Sines’ conduct in which the customer requested $38,651.89 in damages based on accusations that they were pressured by Sines into selling their annuities to buy a real estate investment trust through him and Berthel fisher Company Financial Services. According to the complaint, the annuity liquidation cost the investor thousands of dollars between lost interest credits and surrender penalties. The complaint alleges that the REIT was not appropriate for the customer.

Sines was registered with Kalos Management and Kalos Capital between September 15, 2015 and June 28, 2018.
