Antonio Almeida (also known as Tony Almeida) of Melville, New York, a stockbroker formerly registered with Aegis Capital Corp., is referenced in a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim where the customer sought $106,882.07 in damages based upon accusations that Almeida made unsuitable recommendations in connection with the sale of investments during the time that Almeida was associated with Aegis Capital Corp. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 21-01073 (April 23, 2021).

FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Almeida is referenced in two more customer initiated investment related disputes concerning Almeida’s activities while associated with securities broker dealers, including Aegis Capital Corp. On October 15, 2013, a customer filed an investment related complaint involving Almeida’s conduct where the customer requested $6,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Almeida made unauthorized transactions when he was associated with Global Arena Capital Corp.

On May 19, 2016, a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Almeida’s activities was settled for $30,000.00 in damages based upon accusations that Almeida churned the customer’s account and made misrepresentations with regard to the recommendation and sale of investments when Almeida was associated with Aegis Capital Corp. FINRA Arbitration No. 15-01541.

Public Disclosure also shows that Almeida was suspended for three months from associating with any Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) member in any capacity based upon allegations that Almeida failed to disclose a felony charge. Almeida’s registration with Aegis Capital Corp. was terminated on December 15, 2017. Almeida was also registered with Worden Capital Management LLC between January 21, 2020, and February 12, 2021.
