Kerry Patrick Raheb, a stockbroker formerly registered with the Garden City, New York office of Spartan Capital Securities, LLC, has been named in a customer initiated investment related written complaint on July 21, 2014, in which the customer requested $37,214.99 in damages based upon allegations that Raheb coerced the customer to purchase over-the-counter equities which resulted in the customer’s investment losses.   These are merely allegations based upon FINRA Public Disclosure Records, and nothing regarding Mr. Raheb’s conduct has been proven.
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure also reveals that Raheb has been identified in three additional customer initiated investment related disputes containing allegations of Raheb’s misconduct while employed with Spartan Capital Securities, LLC, Tasin & Company, and EKN Financial Services, Inc. Particularly, on October 30, 2001, a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim involving Raheb’s conduct was settled for $22,500.00 in damages based upon allegations that Raheb churned the customer’s account and effected stock trades on an excessive basis.
Subsequently, on October 18, 2011, a customer filed an investment related written complaint regarding Raheb’s activities, in which the customer requested $216,635.00 in damages based upon allegations that Raheb effected unauthorized equity trades in the customer’s account. Further, on April 23, 2014, a customer filed an investment related arbitration claim involving Raheb’s conduct, in which the customer requested $300,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Raheb placed over-the-counter equity trades in the customer’s account without authorization.
Raheb’s registration with Spartan Capital Securities, LLC was terminated on July 7, 2014. From June 2, 2014, to May 5, 2015, he was registered with Laidlaw & Company (UK) Ltd. Since November 30, 1995, Raheb has been associated with fifteen different broker dealers, thirteen of which have been expelled by securities regulators for violation of federal securities laws or are otherwise defunct. #cockroach
