James Patrick McCloskey, of Newport Beach, California, a stockbroker currently registered with Securian Financial Services, Inc., is the subject of a customer initiated investment related civil action on May 4, 2017, in which the customer requested $397,237.00 in damages based upon allegations that McCloskey made misrepresentations to the customer concerning insurance products that the customer purchased.

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure reveals that on December 12, 2012, another customer filed an investment related written complaint regarding McCloskey’s activities, in which the customer sought $8,123.31 in damages supported by allegations that McCloskey misstated information about surrender penalties assessed on the customer’s insurance contract.
