Rod I. Skaf of Dublin, Ohio, a stockbroker registered with MSI Financial Services, Inc., is the subject of a customer initiated investment related written complaint on September 12, 2017, where the customer requested $38,000.00 in damages based upon accusations that Skaf made misrepresentations to the customer relating to the terms and conditions of the customer’s 2012 and 2014 variable annuity purchases.

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure reveals that Skaf has been identified in three additional customer initiated investment related disputes pertaining to allegations of Skaf’s improper conduct during the time he was associated with MetLife Securities. Specifically, on March 17, 2009, a customer filed an investment related written complaint involving Skaf’s conduct, based upon accusations that Skaf failed to inform the customer about tax consequences of selling a variable annuity prematurely.

Thereafter, on August 26, 2009, a customer filed an investment related written complaint regarding Skaf’s activities, accusing Skaf of inaccurately explaining the variable annuity that a customer purchased. Further, on June 9, 2015, a customer filed an investment related written complaint involving Skaf’s conduct, in which the customer sought $33,584.47 in damages supported by allegations that Skaf induced the customer’s purchase of a variable annuity by making misrepresentations about it.

Skaf’s registration with MSI Financial Services, Inc. has been terminated as of March 25, 2017. Since March 25, 2017, he has been employed with MML Investors Services, LLC.
