Morgan Stanley Name

Michael John Kurka, of Alexandria, Virginia, a stockbroker registered with Morgan Stanley, is the subject of a customer initiated investment related written complaint on October 30, 2017, in which he alleged that between 2011 and 2014, Kurka effected transactions in the customer’s in-house money manager account that were not suitable for the customer.

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure reveals that Morgan Stanley Wealth Management fired Kurka on September 25, 2017, supported by allegations that Kurka failed to convert customers’ investment accounts into fee based investment accounts, and engaged in other sales practices that raised the firm’s suspicions of his misconduct.

On August 20, 2017, Kurka became associated with Moors & Cabot, Inc.
