Mitchell Steven Morrison of Westlake Village, California is a former principal of Financial West Group who is the subject of a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim where the customer sought $1,937,365.00 in damages founded on accusations that Morrison failed to supervise a registered representative who made misrepresentations to the customer and placed unsuitable oil and gas product and direct investment program transactions. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 17-01254 (June 19, 2017). The customer additionally alleged that Morrison neglected to conduct reasonable due diligence concerning investments purchased by the customer.

Morrison’s registration with Financial West Group was terminated on April 14, 2015. He was later employed by Moloney Securities Co., Inc. between May 27, 2015 and August 3, 2017. Since August 14, 2017, Morrison has been employed with Westpark Capital, Inc.
