Isidro Z. Miramontes of Brea California is a stockbroker formerly registered with UBS Financial Services Inc. who is the subject of a customer initiated investment related written complaint on June 9, 2016 where the customer requested more than $5,000.00 in damages based upon accusations that the customer was placed into variable annuities that were not suitable for the customer and had not been apprised of the tax liabilities pertaining to the liquidation of the customer’s annuity accounts.

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure reveals that Miramontes has been identified in seven additional customer initiated investment related disputes containing accusations of Miramontes’ violative conduct during the time that he was associated with Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated. Specifically, a customer was awarded $45,100.00 in damages according to an investment related arbitration claim where Miramontes had been found liable for making unsuitable mutual fund recommendations to the customer and promising the customer thirteen percent annual returns on investments. National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) Arbitration No. 01-05993 (May 9, 2003).

Subsequently, a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim regarding Miramontes’ activities was resolved for $30,000.00 in damages founded on allegations that mutual fund transactions were placed in the customer’s account that were not appropriate for the customer. NASD Arbitration No. 04-00814 (Mar. 28, 2005). On November 1, 2005, another customer filed an investment related written complaint concerning Miramontes’ conduct, alleging that Miramontes made misrepresentations to the customer concerning an annuity, recommended investments that were not suitable and failed to apprise the customer about the terms and conditions of mutual fund and variable annuity investments.

On November 20, 2008, a customer filed an investment related written complaint regarding Miramontes’ activities in which the customer alleged that Miramontes failed to inform the customer about the surrender charges on a variable annuity. Moreover, on September 14, 2009, a customer filed an investment related written complaint involving Miramontes’ conduct where the customer sought $70,000.00 in damages supported by accusations that Miramontes failed to invest the customer’s individual retirement account funds in conformity with the customer’s objectives for investing.

On July 28, 2015, Miramontes’ registration with UBS Financial Services Inc. was terminated. Miramontes has been employed with Purshe Kaplan Sterling Investments since July 20, 2015.
