Michael Joseph Kane III off Plano, Texas, a stockbroker registered with Hilltop Securities Inc., is the subject of a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim in which the customer requested $135,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Kane made unsuitable recommendations and made misrepresentations and omissions of material fact in connection with the sale of corporate bonds and structured notes during the time that Kane was associated with Hilltop Securities Inc. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 22-01562 (July 15, 2022).

FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Kane has been referenced in three other customer initiated investment related disputes concerning Kane’s conduct while associated with BBVA Securities Inc. On March 17, 2017, a complaint involving Kane’s conduct was settled for $11,259.00 in damages based upon allegations that Kane made misrepresentations of material fact in connection with the recommendation and sale of long term Certificates of Deposits or CDs.

Kane was also referenced in a complaint filed on November 27, 2017, in which the customer requested compensation based upon allegations that Kane made unsuitable recommendations of structured notes.

On October 7, 2018, another customer filed an investment related complaint involving Kane’s conduct in which the customer requested $235,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Kane committed fraud and made misrepresentations of material fact in connection with the recommendation and sale of CDs.

Kane was associated with BBVA Securities Inc. in Allen, Texas, as a stockbroker from November of 2015 to August of 2020, and associated with BBVA Wealth Solutions Inc. in Houston, Texas, as an investment advisor representative from December of 2015 to August of 2020.

Kane has been associated with Hilltop Securities Inc. in Plano, Texas, as a stockbroker and investment advisor representative since August 21, 2020.
