Wayne David Kandas, of Tempe, Arizona, a stockbroker formerly registered with MetLife Securities, Inc., has been named in a customer initiated investment related written complaint on May 26, 2016, based upon allegations that Kandas made misrepresentations to the customer regarding variable annuity products.
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure reveals that Kandas has been identified in six additional customer initiated investment related disputes containing allegations of his misconduct while employed at MetLife Securities. Particularly, on June 9, 2002, a customer initiated investment related written complaint involving Kandas’ conduct was settled for $7,186.00 in damages based upon allegations that Kandas effected unauthorized and unsuitable trades in the customer’s brokerage accounts.
Subsequently, on July 20, 2012, a customer initiated investment related written complaint regarding Kandas’ activities was resolved for $9,056.74 in damages based upon allegations that Kandas misrepresented a variable annuity investment. Further, on August 27, 2015, a customer filed an investment related written complaint involving Kandas’ conduct, in which the customer requested $37,071.00 in damages based upon allegations that Kandas made inappropriate investment recommendations to the customer concerning the purchase of a variable annuity.
Kandas’ registration with MetLife Securities, Inc. ended on July 9, 2016. Since May 27, 2016, Kandas has been registered with Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc.
