Shawn I. Houslin of Jacksonville Florida a stockbroker formerly registered with Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner Smith Inc. has been suspended from associating with any Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) member in any capacity supported by allegations that he ignored requests from FINRA for information concerning his business activities. Case No. 2017056538101 (Feb. 23, 2018).

FINRA Public Disclosure confirms that Houslin was discharged by Merrill Lynch on November 1, 2017 founded on accusations that the firm “lost confidence” in him after he inappropriately sought compensation relating to a customers’ deposit of funds.
