Maziar Monshi (also known as Mazi Monshi) of Boca Raton, Florida, a stockbroker formerly registered with LPL Financial LLC, is the subject of a customer initiated investment related FINRA arbitration claim in which the customer requested $600,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Monshi made unsuitable, excessive, and unauthorized over-the-counter equities transactions. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 21-02450 (Oct. 28, 2021). According to the claim, the broker misappropriated the customer’s funds between May of 2016 and May of 2019.

Monshi has been identified in three additional customer initiated investment related disputes concerning his conduct during the time that he was registered with securities broker dealers, including Raymond James Financial Services, WM Financial Services Inc., and Ameriprise Financial. FINRA Public Disclosure shows that a complaint involving Monshi’s conduct was settled to resolve allegations that Monshi made misrepresentations in connection with the customer’s purchase of a fixed annuity.

Monshi is also the subject of a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim which was settled for $39,151.00 in damages based upon alleged trade errors in the customer’s account while Monshi was associated with Raymond James Financial Services. On January 6, 2022, another arbitration claim involving Monshi’s conduct was settled for $127,500.00 in damages based upon allegations that Monshi recommended unsuitable investments, including BDCs and REITs, during the period that he was associated with Ameriprise Financial Services.

Monshi was associated with LPL Financial as a stockbroker between May 12, 2016, and May 23, 2019. Since May 22, 2019, Monshi has been associated with IFP Securities LLC as a stockbroker. Since March 20, 2019, he has been associated with Independent Financial Partners as an investment adviser representative.
