Matthew Eric Platnico (also known as Matthew Erie Platnico), of New York, New York, a stockbroker currently registered with Allied Millennial Partners LLC, is the subject of a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim in which the customer sought $370,000.00 in damages supported by allegations that between December of 2019 and March of 2020, the customer was invested in an unsuitable options strategy because of Platnico and Allied Millennial Partners. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 21-00652 (March 20, 2021).

FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Platnico has been identified in three more customer initiated investment related disputes regarding accusations of his activities while registered with Allied Millennial Partners and Oppenheimer Co. Inc. Platnico is referenced in a customer initiated investment related complaint which was settled for $95,690.00 in damages on February 5, 2019, based upon accusations of unauthorized trading by Platnico at Oppenheimer. The complaint alleges that the customer’s short position had been closed out by Platnico without the customer being contacted at the time of the transaction.

On August 30, 2019, a customer filed an investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Platnico’s activities where they requested $265,627.73 in damages founded on allegations that Platnico made misrepresentations to the customer regarding an options strategy while he was registered with Oppenheimer. FINRA Arbitration No. 19-02385. The claim alleges that the strategy executed between April 1, 2018, and December 31, 2018, was unsuitable and resulted in damages.

On September 13, 2021, another customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim regarding Platnico’s conduct was resolved for $182,500.00 in damages supported by allegations of unauthorized and unsuitable index options trades by Platnico when he was employed by Allied Millennial Partners. Platnico’s stockbroker and investment adviser representative registrations with Oppenheimer were terminated on February 15, 2019. Since April 3, 2019, he has been registered with Allied Millennial Partners as a stockbroker. Since January 17, 2020, he has been registered with Millennial Advisors LLC as an investment adviser representative.
