Mark Charles Cohen of New York New York a stockbroker formerly registered with BCG Securities Inc. is the subject of a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim where the customer sought compensatory damages based upon accusations of Cohen selling unsuitable direct participation program interests and limited partnership interests during the period that he was associated with BCG Securities Inc. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 21-01180 (May 6, 2021). The claim alleges that Cohen did not perform due diligence on investments before selling them.

Cohen has been identified in five additional customer initiated investment related disputes concerning allegations of his improper conduct while employed by AXA Advisors and BCG Securities. FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Cohen is referenced in a customer initiated investment related written complaint in which the customer requested compensatory damages supported by accusations of misrepresentations by Cohen concerning the customer’s annuity and variable life insurance policy purchases through AXA Advisors.

Another customer initiated investment related complaint involving Cohen’s conduct was resolved for $118,804.56 in damages founded on allegations that Cohen’s annuity sale at AXA Advisors was unsuitable given the customer’s financial needs and age.

Cohen is also the subject of a customer initiated investment related written complaint on December 10, 2020 where the customer sought $76,500.00 in damages supported by allegations that their account was churned and that transactions were not suitable for them. According to the complaint, BCG Securities failed to supervise Cohen’s real estate investment trust transaction and his stock trading.

On July 28, 2021, a different customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim concerning Cohen’s conduct was settled for $200,000.00 in damages based upon accusations that due diligence was not undertaken by Cohen in regard to alternative investments that he sold to the customer during the time that he was associated with BCG Securities. Cohen has been barred from associating with any FINRA member in any capacity founded on a FINRA Office of Hearing Officers Decision and Order of Offer of Settlement based on findings that Cohen converted funds while he was associated with MetLife Securities. Letter of Acceptance Waiver and Consent No. 2014040761001 (Sept. 4, 2018). Cohen violated FINRA Rules 2010 and 4511. He was discharged by MetLife for violating policy.

Cohen was registered with BCG Securities between May 19, 2014 and September 5, 2018.
