Luisa Gonzalez (also known as Mercado Luisa Gonzales) of Kissimmee Florida a stockbroker formerly registered with SunTrust investment Services Inc. is referenced in a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim in which the customer requested between $100,000.00 and $500,000.00 in damages supported by allegations of Gonzalez selling them an unsuitable GIC investment during the time that she was employed by SunTrust Investment Services Inc. FINRA Arbitration No. 21-01320 (May 21, 2021).

This is not the first time that Gonzalez has been accused of wrongdoing by a customer of a securities broker dealer. FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Gonzalez is the subject of a customer initiated investment related written complaint that was resolved for $69,965.70 in damages founded upon accusations of Gonzalez failing to tell the customer about the terms of a variable annuity purchased through LPL Financial. According to the complaint, Gonzalez made an unsuitable annuity sale.

Gonzalez’s registration with SunTrust Investment Services has been terminated as of March 20, 2017. She was registered with PNC Investments as a stockbroker and investment adviser representative between March 31, 2017, and March 19, 2019. Since September 2, 2020, Gonzalez has been employed by The Leaders Group Inc.
