Lizabeth Gotuaco Ty of Houston, Texas, a stockbroker formerly registered with Park Avenue Securities LLC who is barred from the securities industry, is the subject of a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim, in which the customer requested $175,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Ty effected unauthorized transactions by selling the customer a promissory note that was not registered. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 17-00680 (Mar. 27, 2017).

FINRA Public Disclosure reveals that another customer filed an investment related arbitration claim regarding Ty’s activities, where the customer requested $1,925,000.00 in damages founded on accusations that Ty effected sales of unregistered promissory notes. FINRA Arbitration No. 17-00429 (Feb. 24, 2017).

Park Avenue Securities is responsible for Ty’s conduct undcer the federal securities laws.

Three previous customer complaints pertaining to similar accusations of Ty’s misconduct have been resolved for a total of $430,000.00 in damages. FINRA Arbitration Nos. 16-00481 (Mar. 2, 2017), 16-00871 (Mar. 2, 2017), 16-00424 (Mar. 6, 2017).

Ty has been barred by FINRA in all capacities from associating with any FINRA member based upon her consent to findings that she failed to provide information and documentation to FINRA staff in the course of an examination of her alleged unregistered securities sales.
