Kevin Thomas Fles of Sikeston, Missouri, a stockbroker registered with Cetera Advisors LLC, was the subject of a customer initiated investment related civil action that was settled for $15,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Fles made unsuitable investment recommendations of real estate securities during the time that Fles was associated with Cetera Advisors LLC. Civil Action No. 20S0-CV01605 (June 3, 2022).
This is not the first time that Fles has been referenced in a customer initiated investment related dispute concerning Fles’ conduct in the securities industry. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure shows that Fles was also referenced in a complaint filed on February 25, 2020, in which the customer requested $40,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Fles made unsuitable recommendations of direct investments during the period that Fles was associated with Cetera Advisors LLC.
Fles has been associated with Cetera Advisors LLC in Sikeston, Missouri, as a stockbroker since February 28, 2012, and associated with Cetera Advisors LLC in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, as an investment advisor representative since February 28, 2012.
