Joseph Francis Comiskey Jr. of Ronkonkoma, NY, a stockbroker registered with Spartan Capital Securities LLC, was the subject of a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim that was settled for $10,500.00 in damages based upon allegations that Comiskey made misrepresentations of material fact, was negligent, and breached his fiduciary duties in connection with the recommendation and sale of stocks and options during the time that Comiskey was associated with Spartan Capital Securities LLC. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 19-00789 (May 21, 2020).

FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Comiskey has been referenced in three other customer initiated investment related disputes concerning Comiskey’s conduct while associated with securities broker dealers. On June 12, 2007, a customer filed an investment related complaint involving Comiskey’s conduct in which the customer requested $83,185.00 in damages based upon allegations that Comiskey engaged in excessive trading and charged excessive commissions in connection with the sale of over-the-counter equities when Comiskey was associated with J.P. Turner Company LLC.

Comiskey was also referenced in a complaint that was settled on March 18, 2010, for $16,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Comiskey failed to execute a stop loss order during the time that Comiskey was associated with K.C. Ward Financial.

On May 30, 2017, a different FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Comiskey’s conduct was settled for $140,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Comiskey engaged in speculative trading in over-the-counter equities. FINRA Arbitration No. 15-3359.

Comiskey Jr. was associated with K.C. Ward Financial in Ronkonkoma, NY, as a stockbroker from February of 2008 to December of 2017, and was associated with Spartan Capital Securities LLC in Ronkonkoma, NY, as a stockbroker from January of 2018 to October of 2019.
