Christopher John Frattini, of Hoboken, New Jersey, a stockbroker formerly registered with John Carris Investments LLC, has been named in a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim, which settled on February 3, 2016, for $6,500.00 in damages based upon allegations that Frattini effected equity transactions in the customer’s account which were not suitable for the customer. The customer further alleged that John Carris Investments inadequately supervised Frattini’s conduct.
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure reveals that Frattini has been identified in three additional customer initiated investment related disputes containing allegations of his misconduct while employed with Coastal Equities, Inc. and John Carris Investments LLC. Specifically, from August 25, 2015, to January 11, 2016, two customer initiated investment related written complaints involving Frattini’s conduct were settled for a total of $10,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Frattini effected unsuitable corporate debt transactions in the customers’ accounts.
Subsequently, on April 5, 2016, a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim regarding Frattini’s activities was resolved for $10,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Frattini made investment related misrepresentations, negligently managed the customer’s investment portfolio, and effected transactions in the customer’s account that were not suitable regarding over-the-counter equity and direct investment programs.
Frattini’s registration with John Carris Investments LLC was terminated on May 23, 2014. He has been registered with Coastal Equities, Inc. since April 24, 2014. Notably, all the broker-dealers Frattini has been previously associated with have been expelled by securities regulators for violation of federal securities laws or are otherwise defunct.
