Jesus Jose Alvidrez of Brea, California, a stockbroker formerly registered with Transamerica Financial Advisors Inc., has been barred from associating with any Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) member in any capacity supported by findings that Alvidrez failed to comply with a FINRA investigation concerning alleged outside business activities while registered with Transamerica Financial Advisors. Letter of Acceptance, Waiver, and Consent No. 2020067567201 (May 17, 2022).

FINRA Public Disclosure shows that FINRA’s investigation into Alvidrez started when it received word from Transamerica Financial Advisors that it permitted Alvidrez to resign on August 14, 2020, for allegedly engaging in an outside business activity. Alvidrez used unauthorized materials, including signage and a sales presentation.

FINRA states that in January 2022, Alvidrez was sent requests from FINRA regarding information and documents he needed to turn over in the investigation. Alvidrez was cooperative with FINRA’s investigation at first, but he shut down in April of 2022. The AWC states that on April 29, 2022, FINRA learned that Alvidrez would not cooperate further in the investigation. FINRA found that Alvidrez violated Rules 2010 and 8210 for failing to comply.

Alvidrez was associated with Transamerica Financial Advisors between November 25, 2014, and August 14, 2020.
