James Craig Chesser II, of Champaign, Illinois, a stockbroker formerly registered with the O.N. Equity Sales Company, is the subject of a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim, where the customer requested $6,900,000.00 in damages supported by accusations that Chesser inappropriately managed the customer’s investment portfolio of mutual funds, insurance products, equities and variable annuities. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 16-03157 (Nov. 7, 2016).

FINRA Public Disclosure additionally confirms that on April 12, 2017, a customer initiated investment related written complaint involving Chesser’s conduct was settled for $100,000.00 in damages founded on allegations that Chesser effected whole life insurance policies and variable annuities that were not suitable for the customer.
