James Joseph Beaupre (also known as Jim Beaupre) of Longmont Colorado a stockbroker formerly registered with BancWest Investment Services Inc. is referenced in a customer initiated investment related written complaint which was settled on September 21, 2017 to resolve allegations that the customer had been inappropriately placed in annuity policies issued through Principal, Jackson and Great American given the customer’s financial needs and the failure of those products to provide liquidity needed by the customer.

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure reveals that Beaupre has been identified in two additional customer initiated investment related disputes pertaining to accusations of his misconduct while he was employed with Wells Fargo Advisors and BancWest Investment Services. Specifically, on October 19, 2015, a customer filed an investment related complaint involving Beaupre’s activities in which the customer sought more than $5,000.00 in damages founded on allegations of non-disclosures concerning the customer’s access of principal in a fixed indexed annuity which had been sold by the stockbroker when he was employed by BancWest Investment Services.

On March 21, 2017, another customer filed an investment related complaint concerning Beaupre’s conduct where the customer requested $10,000.00 in damages based upon accusations that when Beaupre was associated with Wells Fargo Advisors, the customer had been misled concerning the investments held in a managed wrap account, and the customer was not adequately informed of the fees which were charged for the investment advisory services program.

Beaupre’s employment with BancWest Investment Services Inc. has been terminated as of January 20, 2016. Since January 8, 2016, he has been associated with Wells Fargo Clearing Services LLC.
