Gilberto Briseno (also known as Gilbert Briseno) of Boutte Louisiana a former stockbroker and investment adviser representative of LPL Financial is referenced in a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim where the customer sought compensatory damages estimated to exceed $5,000.00 founded on allegations that the customer received unsuitable investment recommendations from Briseno concerning real estate securities and variable annuities during the time that Briseno was associated with LPL Financial. FINRA Arbitration No. 20-03434 (Nov. 13, 2020).

FINRA Public Disclosure confirms that Briseno has been identified in two additional customer initiated investment related disputes concerning accusations of his misconduct during the period that he was registered with FSC Securities Corporation and LPL Financial. On August 31, 2020, a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim concerning Briseno’s activities was settled for $90,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that the FSC Securities Corporation customer was placed into inappropriate real estate security and annuity products because of Briseno. FINRA Arbitration No. 20-00535 (Aug. 31, 2020). The claim also alleges that misrepresentations had been made to the customer concerning those securities.

On November 13, 2020, another customer filed an investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim regarding Briseno’s conduct in which the customer requested more than $5,000.00 in damages supported by accusations that information relating to annuity and REIT transactions was misrepresented by the stockbroker. FINRA Arbitration No. 20-03435. According to the claim, the stockbroker’s investment recommendations were not appropriate for the LPL Financial customer.

Briseno’s registration with LPL Financial was terminated on August 21, 2017. He has been registered with Arkadios Capital since August 1, 2017.
