Eli Jacob Sanchez of San Antonio Texas a stockbroker registered with Edward Jones has been discharged by the firm on February 27, 2017 supported by allegations that Sanchez (1) placed trades in customer accounts on an unauthorized basis (2) neglected to disclose commissions charged to customers and (3) failed to be forthcoming to compliance personnel in the firm’s investigation into Sanchez’s activities.

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure confirms that on January 29, 2018, a customer initiated investment related complaint involving Sanchez’s conduct was settled to resolve accusations that Sanchez made investment recommendations to the customer that were not suitable given that the customer had incurred an unwarranted sales charge on mutual funds when the customer could have been placed in a different fund family.
