Donald Joseph Savino Jr. of Rochester New York a stockbroker registered with LPL Financial LLC has been discharged by the firm on March 30, 2017 supported by accusations that Savino engaged in private securities transactions in violation of the firm’s policy.

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure reveals that a customer filed an investment related arbitration claim concerning Savino’s conduct in which the customer requested more than $5,000.00 in damages founded on allegations that fiduciary duties owed to the customer had been breached; transactions were effected in the customer’s account that were not suitable for the customer, the customer’s assets were negligently handled; and the customer was defrauded in reference to non-traded real estate investment trusts, private securities and variable annuity transactions. FINRA Arbitration No. 18-00668 (Feb. 22, 2018).

Savino’s registration with LPL Financial LLC was terminated on April 24, 2017. He has been employed by American Portfolios Financial Services, Inc. since April 27, 2017.
