Dawn Alison Strachan (also known as Dawn Alison Osogwin and as Dawn Allison Osogwin) of Torrance California a stockbroker formerly registered with Questar Capital Corporation is the subject of a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim where the customer sought $999,999.00 in damages based on accusations of Strachan’s unsuitable recommendations regarding private placements and real estate securities when she was associated with Questar Capital Corporation. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 21-00865 (Apr. 29, 2021). The claim indicates that the customer purchased a unsuitable real estate investment trusts and private placements because of Strachan.

This is not the first time that Strachan’s sales practices have been called into question regarding real estate securities. FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Strachan is referenced in a customer initiated investment related written complaint on April 18, 2018 in which the customer requested compensation based on allegations that they were placed into two unsuitable real estate investment trusts by Strachan at Questar Capital Corporation.

Between September 5, 2014 and March 1, 2019, Strachan was a stockbroker of Questar Capital Corporation and an investment adviser representative of Questar Asset Management Inc. Since March 1, 2019, she has been a stockbroker and investment adviser representative of Woodbury Financial Services Inc.
