David Michael Lademan of Okemos Michigan, a stockbroker formerly registered with Kalos Capital Inc., is referenced in a customer initiated investment related FINRA arbitration claim in which the customer sought up to $500,000.00 in damages founded on allegations of negligent supervision and breach of contract concerning private placements and real estate securities through Lademan at Kalos Capital. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 22-00326 (February 14, 2022).

Lademan has been identified in five additional customer initiated investment related disputes regarding accusations of his activities during the period that he was associated with Kalos Capital and Madison Avenue Securities. FINRA Public Disclosure shows that a customer filed an investment related complaint regarding Lademan’s activities where the customer requested $9,125.00 in damages based upon allegations that Lademan made misrepresentations to the customer concerning a fixed indexed annuity during the time that Lademan was associated with Madison Avenue Securities.

Lademan is also identified in a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim in which the customer sought unspecified damages supported by accusations of breach of fiduciary duty and breach of contract concerning the customer’s involvement in direct investments, real estate securities, business development companies, and equipment leasing securities. FINRA Arbitration No. 21-02084 (December 1, 2021). The claim alleges omissions and misrepresentations, negligence, and Kalos Capital’s failure to supervise.

On January 18, 2021, another customer initiated investment related arbitration claim concerning Lademan’s conduct was settled for $116,249.00 in damages founded on allegations of over concentration and failure to conduct due diligence on private equity investments. FINRA Arbitration No. 20-00133 (January 18, 2021). The claim alleges that the customer sustained damages on the poorly performing investment.

Lademan is also the subject of a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim which was resolved for $46,285.00 in damages based upon accusations of poor performance on an alternative investment. FINRA Arbitration No. 20-00857 (January 18, 2021). The claim alleges that Kalos Capital failed to undertake due diligence on a direct participation program (DPP) or limited partnership (LP).

On January 18, 2021, another customer initiated investment related arbitration claim involving Lademan’s conduct was settled for $20,555.00 in damages supported by allegations of bad advice by Lademan concerning GPB Capital Holdings. FINRA Arbitration No. 20-02858. The claim alleges insufficient due diligence concerning the BDC.

Lademan was registered with Kalos Capital Inc. between October 1, 2012, and August 16, 2018, and LPL Financial LLC between August 15, 2018, and February 5, 2019.
