David Allan Cohen, of Rockville, Maryland, a stockbroker formerly registered with AXA Advisors, LLC, is the subject of a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim, in which the customer sought $80,000.00 in damages supported by accusations that Cohen made unsuitable investment recommendations to the customer concerning the customer’s purchase of an annuity and life insurance product in 2016. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 16-03755 (Jan. 6, 2017).

FINRA Public Disclosure additionally reveals that a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim pertaining to Cohen’s activities was resolved for $8,500.00 in damages founded on allegations that Cohen’s recommendation of an incentive life insurance policy was not appropriate for the customer. FINRA Arbitration No. 17-00642 (Aug. 29, 2017).

Cohen’s employment with AXA Advisors, LLC has been terminated as of December 20, 2017.
