Harris W. Kirk, of Richardson, Texas, a stockbroker Reef Securities, Inc., is subject to a pending customer dispute from February 11, 2016, in which a customer has requested $250,000.00 in damages after alleging that Kirk failed to conduct due diligence concerning investments, failed to disclose investment risks to the customer, committed breach of contract, and failed to supervise.
According to FINRA’s BrokerCheck, Kirk has been previously subject to eight disclosure incidents, three of which involved customer complaints. Particularly, on December 15, 2008, Kirk settled a customer dispute for $45,000.00 after he was alleged to have misled the customer concerning Reef Oil and Gas Partners, LP, concerning an investment.
On June 21, 2010, a customer lodged a dispute against Kirk, requesting $140,000.00 in damages in connection with allegations against Kirk of misrepresenting investment opportunities while associated with Reef Securities, Inc. On January 17, 2015, Kirk settled a customer dispute for $25,000.00 after the customer alleged breach of contract, failure to disclose investment risks, failure to supervise, and failure to conduct due diligence concerning investments.
