Joshua J. Pratta, of Towson, Maryland, a stockbroker formerly registered with Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated, is the subject of a customer initiated investment related written complaint on October 24, 2016, in which the customer requested $100,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Pratta made misrepresentations and omissions, recommended unsuitable investments, and effected unauthorized trades in the customer’s in-house money manager account between October of 2014 and August of 2015.

Pratta’s registration with Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated was terminated on August 10, 2017. Since August 8, 2017, he has been registered with BB&T Securities, LLC.
