Craig McIlroy, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, a stockbroker registered with Lincoln Financial Advisors Corporation (now known as Osaic FA Inc.), is the subject of a customer initiated investment related Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) securities arbitration claim in which the customer requested $100,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that McIlroy made the unsuitable investment recommendation of oil and gas investments when McIlroy was associated with Lincoln Financial Advisors Corporation. FINRA Public Disclosure shows that McIlroy is referenced in four other customer initiated investment related disputes concerning McIlroy’s conduct while associated with securities broker dealers, including Lincoln Financial Advisors. On June 19, 2012, a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving McIlroy’s conduct was settled for $1,179,426.00 in damages based upon allegations that McIlroy made misrepresentations and omissions of material fact in connection with the sale of private placement annuities when McIlroy was associated with Lincoln Financial Advisors. McIlroy was also referenced in a FINRA securities arbitration claim that was settled for $133,500.00 in damages based upon allegations that McIlroy made unsuitable recommendations in oil and gas investments. FINRA Arbitration No. 22-02802 (August 17, 2023).
On October 28, 2024, a customer filed an investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving McIlroy’s conduct in which the customer requested $50,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that McIlroy gave unsuitable advice about energy securities when McIlroy was associated with Lincoln Financial Advisors Corporation. McIlroy has been associated with LPL Financial LLC in Highlands Ranch, Colorado since August 5, 2024. McIlroy was associated with Osaic FA Inc. in Denver, Colorado from June 1, 1998 to August 6, 2024.
