Christopher David Sinkula of Stuart Florida a stockbroker formerly registered with Janney Montgomery Scott LLC is the subject of a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim where the customer requested $200,000.00 in damages founded on accusations that Sinkula unsuitably allocated the customer in high yield securities including stocks between 2013 and 2020 while Sinkula was associated with Janney Montgomery Scott. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 20-02737 (August. 24, 2020).

Sinkula has been identified in thirteen additional customer initiated investment related disputes containing allegations of his wrongdoing during the time that he was registered with Janney Montgomery Scott and Citigroup Global Markets Inc. FINRA Public Disclosure confirms that a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim concerning Sinkula’s activities was resolved for $42,500.00 in damages supported by accusations that the features of variable annuities had been misrepresented by Sinkula when he was associated with Citigroup Global Markets.

On February 23, 2018, another customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim regarding Sinkula’s conduct was settled for $24,750.00 in damages based upon allegations that the customer was concentrated in energy stocks by Sinkula causing damages. FINRA Arbitration No. 17-02467. Sinkula is referenced in another customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim which was resolved for $100,000.00 in damages founded on accusations that Sinkula made unsuitable investment recommendations at Janney Montgomery Scott. FINRA Arbitration No. 18-01334 (Nov. 5, 2018).

Sinkula is also the subject of a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim which was resolved for $95,000.00 in damages based upon accusations that stock trades effected in the customer’s account were not suitable for the customer’s account at Janney Montgomery Scott. FINRA Arbitration No. 18-02707 (Apr. 24, 2019). A different customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Sinkula’s activities was settled for $205,000.00 in damages supported by allegations of unsuitability relating to the customer’s common and preferred stock transactions. FINRA Arbitration No. 18-01458 (Apr. 25, 2019).

On May 12, 2019, an additional customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim concerning Sinkula’s conduct was settled for $40,000.00 in damages founded on allegations of Sinkula’s unsuitable stock trading which caused the customer to experience damages. FINRA Arbitration No. 19-00626. The stockbroker is also referenced in a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim that was resolved for $40,000.00 in damages supported by accusations of unsuitable recommendations by Sinkula as it pertained to the customer’s stock portfolio. FINRA Arbitration No. 19-01934 (Aug. 13, 2020).

Sinkula was registered with Janney Montgomery Scott between August 29, 2008 and December 12, 2019.
