Christopher William Porter of Yalesville, Connecticut, a stockbroker currently registered with Madison Avenue Securities LLC, is identified in a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim in which the customer requested approximately $100,000.00 in damages because Porter allegedly provided unsuitable recommendations to the customer concerning alternative investments including GPB Automotive when Porter was associated with Madison Avenue Securities. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 21-02589.

This is not the first time that Porter has been the subject of a customer initiated investment related dispute. FINRA Public Disclosure additionally shows that Porter is the subject of a FINRA securities arbitration claim which was resolved on November 25, 2020, based upon accusations that Porter provided unsuitable advice to the customer in connection with the purchase of GPB Automotive investments during the period that he was registered with Madison Avenue Securities. FINRA Arbitration No. 20-02725. According to the claim, the broker did not perform due diligence on GPB Automotive prior to recommending the investments.

Porter has been registered with Madison Avenue Securities LLC as a stockbroker since December 18, 2006, and as an investment adviser representative since March 25, 2009.
