Christopher Grant Conness of Fort Lauderdale Florida a stockbroker formerly registered with GF Investment Services LLC is the subject of a customer initiated investment related written complaint on October 20, 2020 where the customer requested $50,000.00 in damages supported by allegations that Conness’ real estate investment trust recommendations were unsuitable for them. According to the complaint, the customer sustained damages as the result of unsuitable investment recommendations made by Conness while registered with GF Investment Services.

This is not the first time that Conness has been the subject of a customer dispute about sales practice violations. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure reveals that on September 8, 2020, a customer filed an investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim regarding Conness’ activities in which the customer sought $100,000.00 in damages based upon accusations of negligence in reference to the customer’s purchase of direct investments including direct participation program and limited partnership interests. According to the claim, there was a breach of fiduciary duty and breach of contract in reference to the customer’s investments. The claim also alleges that Conness gave bad advice concerning these investments.

Conness’ registration with GF Investment Services was terminated on August 8, 2017. He was associated with Global Financial Private Capital LLC as an investment adviser representative between November 29, 2010 and April 19, 2018. Since August 7, 2017, Conness has been associated with Madison Avenue Securities as a stockbroker. As of May 5, 2017, he has been an investment adviser representative of Global Wealth Management Investment Advisory Inc.
