Christian J. Stoltz, of Forty Fort, Pennsylvania, a stockbroker with Centaurus Financial, Inc., was named in a pending customer dispute on August 8, 2016, in which a customer has requested $32,000.00 in damages after alleging Stoltz made unsuitable recommendations concerning annuities and the customer’s managed investment account.
Public Disclosure records reveal that Stoltz has also been subject to two additional customer disputes. On June 16, 2016, a customer lodged a complaint against Stoltz, requesting $200,000.00 in damages after alleging to be misinformed concerning surrender penalties on market index annuities. On November 5, 2013, Stoltz settled a customer dispute for $196,000.00 amid allegations against Stoltz of violating Securities Exchange Act of 1934 Section 10(b), Rule 10b-5, as well as committing breach of fiduciary duty and breach of contract.
