Christopher Joseph Marnelego, of New York, New York, a stockbroker formerly registered with Buckman, Buckman and Reid, Inc., is the subject of a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim, which settled on January 15, 2016, for $37,500.00 in damages resting on allegations that Marnelego made unsuitable investment recommendations to the customer as well as misrepresentations pertaining to private placement investments.

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure confirms that Marnelego has been subject of two additional customer initiated investment related disputes pertaining to accusations of his wrongdoing while he was associated with Buckman, Buckman & Reid, Inc. In particular, on August 24, 2010, a customer filed an investment related written complaint involving Marnelego’s conduct, supported by allegations that Marnelego made unsuitable private placement and over-the-counter equities recommendations to the customer.

Then, on August 28, 2013, a customer filed an investment related written complaint regarding Marnelego’s activities, where the customer sought $75,000.00 in damages based upon accusations against Marnelego of inducing the customer’s private placement purchases by making misrepresentations.

Marnelego was registered with First Standard Financial Company from October 28, 2015, to November 30, 2016, following Marnelego’s departure from Buckman, Buckman & Reid, Inc. Since May 23, 2002, Marnelego has been associated with eleven different broker dealers, seven of which have been expelled by securities regulators for violation of federal securities laws or are otherwise defunct.
