William Louis Baumner, of Boca Raton, Florida, a stockbroker currently registered with Buckman, Buckman & Reid, Inc., has been subject to a customer initiated investment related arbitration action on December 16, 2015, in which the customer requested $100,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Baumner made misrepresentations to the customer concerning investments.
FINRA Public Disclosure reveals that Baumner has been subject to six additional customer arbitrations. Particularly, on May 19, 1998, a customer initiated investment related arbitration action involving Baumner was resolved for $28,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Baumner did not follow the customer’s investment based instructions.
On May 5, 2009, another customer initiated investment related arbitration action involving Baumner was settled for $70,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Baumner, while associated with Investors Capital Corp., implemented an investment strategy for the customer which was not suitable. Additionally, on February 14, 2011, another customer filed an investment related arbitration action involving Baumner’s actions, in which the customer requested $100,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Baumner was responsible for the customer’s investment losses.
Further, on September 20, 2012, a customer initiated investment related arbitration action involving Baumner’s actions was settled for $34,625.00 in damages based upon allegations that Baumner effected unsuitable investment transactions in the customer’s account. On November 22, 2013, another customer filed an investment related arbitration action involving Baumner’s actions, in which the customer alleged that Baumner breached his fiduciary obligation to the customer.
On March 11, 2014, a customer initiated investment related arbitration action involving Baumner’s actions was settled for $15,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Baumner effected unsuitable investments in the customer’s account.
