Avi Elliot Schottenstein of New York, New York, a stockbroker registered with J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, has entered in a Consent Order with the  State of Illinois agreeing to be permanently barred registration in the state. In the Matter of Avi Elliot Schottenstein, File No. 2100123 (April 22, 2022).

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure shows that Schottenstein was also the subject of a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim in which the customer was awarded more than $19 million in damages because Schottenstein was held liable for fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and omissions and misrepresentations of material fact in connection with the recommendation and sale of promissory notes to his grandmother’s Trust, the  Beverley B. Schottenstein Revocable Trust, when Schottenstein was associated with J.P. Morgan Securities LLC. FINRA Arbitration No. 19-02053 (February 5, 2021).

Schottenstein was associated with J.P. Morgan Securities LLC in New York, NY, as a stockbroker from March of 2014 to July of 2019.
