Investors Sue Cherry Hill Stockbroker For Misconduct

Andrew Jack Cohen of Cherry Hill New Jersey a stockbroker currently employed by Questar Capital Corporation is the subject of a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim in which the customer requested $500,000.00 in damages founded on allegations of (1) breach of fiduciary duty (2) violation of Pennsylvania Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law (3) breach of contract (4) misrepresentation (5) suitability (6) negligence and (7) failure to supervise in reference to the customer’s fixed and variable annuities purchases as well as exchange traded fund and real estate investment trust transactions. FINRA Public Disclosure additionally confirms that on January 12, 2016, a customer filed an investment related complaint regarding Cohen’s conduct where the customer sought damages estimated to exceed $5,000.00 in damages based upon accusations that unsuitable investment recommendations had been made to the customer concerning mutual fund investments, causing the customer to sustain unwarranted tax liabilities. Apparently, mutual funds and exchange traded funds had been sold from the customer’s investment portfolio to purchase the recommended investments, causing the customer to incur large capital gains.
