Thomas Benjamin Carreras, of West Palm Beach, Florida, a stockbroker currently registered with Ameritas Investment Corp., has been named in a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim, which settled on February 27, 2017, for $8,500.00 in damages based upon allegations that Carreras transacted in the customer’s account in a negligent fashion, breached his fiduciary and contractual obligations, and churned the customer’s third party money managed account through the exchange traded fund transactions he effected.
