Alexander Strachan Hackley (also known as Lex Hackley), of Centennial, Colorado, a stockbroker registered with Lifemark Securities Corporation, is the subject of a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim in which the customer requested $300,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Hackley breached his fiduciary duties to the customer, failed to supervise certain registered representatives, violated FINRA rules, and violated securities laws in connection with the recommendation and sale of GWG L bonds during the time that Hackley was associated with Lifemark Securities Corporation. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 22-01466 (June 30, 2022).

This is not the first time that Hackley has been referenced in a customer initiated investment related dispute concerning Hackley’s conduct in the securities industry. FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Hackley was also referenced in a customer initiated investment related complaint filed on December 2, 2009, in which the customer requested compensation based upon allegations that Hackley made unsuitable recommendations of variable universal life insurance policies when Hackley was associated with Woodbury Financial Services Inc.

On May 2, 2011, another customer filed an investment related complaint involving Hackley’s conduct in which the customer requested $21,042.60 in damages based upon allegations that Hackley made unsuitable recommendations of variable annuities during the time that Hackley was associated with Woodbury Financial Services Inc.

Hackley has been registered with Lifemark Securities Corporation since March 1, 2017.
