Adam David Kaplan of Scottsdale Arizona a stockbroker currently employed by Voya Financial Advisors Inc. is referenced in a customer initiated investment related written complaint on September 13, 2019 in which the customer sought $69,275.00 in damages supported by accusations that unfounded statements had been made to the customer concerning the terms and conditions of fixed index annuities issued by Lincoln Financial and Jackson National.

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure confirms that Kaplan is referenced in two additional customer initiated investment related disputes that concern allegations of his violative conduct when he was associated with securities broker dealers including AXA Advisors and MetLife. Specifically, a customer initiated investment related complaint involving Kaplan’s activities was settled to resolve accusations that while Kaplan was associated with AXA Advisors, the customer had been falsely told that the account value of the customer’s variable annuity would increase by six percent annually on a guaranteed basis; and Kaplan failed to follow the customer’s instructions as it pertained to the conversion of a whole life insurance policy into a variable life insurance policy.

Another customer filed an investment related complaint concerning Kaplan’s conduct where the customer requested unspecified damages founded on allegations of unauthorized transactions including the liquidation of the customer’s stock portfolio and the purchase of a variable annuity; and misrepresentations concerning a variable annuity product sold by Kaplan during the period in which he was employed by MetLife.

Kaplan has been registered with Voya Financial Advisors Inc. since November 27, 2018.
